The engines of these models comply with the Tier IV regulations and have achieved this thanks to the aftertreatment liquid, the AdBlue diesel engine exhaust fluid. Compared to older engine standards, EPA Tier III, these engines continue to deliver the same power and torque, but consume 10% less fuel. The lower consumption is due to several factors, including: the optimal level of diesel exhaust fuel provided by the AdBlue tank, compatibility with B20 biofuels and a very efficient idle control system that reduces the engine speed of 850 at 650 rpm whenever idle is detected.
With the 3-point hitch, the 90mm cylinders can lift up to 6310kg. For these models, the three-point hitch and PTO were optional in Europe, but at the same time available in North America. The rear three-point hitch is controlled by single-switch raise / lower traction position control and features electronic traction control for easy position and action control.
A very good option that New Holland offers is on the steering function. While the default steering angle is around 55 degrees, the SuperSteer option adds an extra 10 degrees, which is very important when driving through narrow crop rows. This extra grade also helps reduce turn times by up to 35%. Other options are TerraGlice and TerraLock. While the former helps maintain 100% traction regardless of conditions, the latter offers three gear positions: off, automatic and permanent.

In our company there are 2 identical New Holland tractors, model T6. We have been working with them for more than 2 years. During all this time, not a single serious breakdown. A generator was being repaired on one of the tractors, but that was a year ago. I recently learned from a friend that post-warranty repairs have gone up in price several times. I have been working with the New Holland T6 for several years. Satisfied with the economical consumption of oil and fuel, the thrust of the engine, the transmission. The cab is completely thought out – it has all the conditions for comfortable work without noise or vibrations. Everything on the information board is intuitive.
